Lesson Overview
In this A2 ESL lesson plan on the environment, students will explore basic vocabulary and concepts related to environmental issues. Through fun activities and discussions, learners will develop language skills while gaining awareness of environmental challenges and the importance of sustainability at a beginner level of English proficiency.
The class begins with a fun warm-up exercise. Next, they are introduced to new words related to the topic, which they are then challenged to use in the next exercise.
There is an awesome video-based activity which enables students to practise their comprehension skills through true or false, sentence completion and discussion exercises.
Afterwards, there is an excellent reading which challenges students to learn more about environmental issues. The lesson finishes with fun speaking games which are designed to help student progression while ensuring they are fully engaged and loving learning. Activities:
