Lesson Overview

This lesson provides your ESL beginner students opportunities to practice their conversation skills. Take it slow - help them through all the questions. It might be a challenge for them, but speaking early on in their English studies will truly benefit them in the long run. Remember to correct common mistakes - they’ll thank you for it later!

This Christmas conversation lesson plan will force beginner students to come out of their shells and talk about Christmas. Students have to complete a quick vocabulary exercise to make sure they learn new words at the beginning of the lesson. Thereafter, they have to complete a speaking exercise to practice the new vocabulary that they have learned.

Thereafter, students focus solely on free conversation. This Christmas conversation class will give your students an opportunity to express their opinions about their favourite Christmas traditions.
