Lesson Overview:
This B1 ESL conversation class is all about friendship and the different ways we connect with people. It follows on from the main B1 lesson plan on friendship, which you can find here.
In this class, students will practise speaking about friendship types, personal relationships, and what makes a good friend. Fun activities like “would you rather” questions, opinion statements, and short discussions help learners talk about trust, support, communication, and how friendships change over time.
This conversation-focused session is designed to build confidence, improve fluency, and help students express opinions naturally in English when talking about friendships.
The lesson includes clear, engaging activities that encourage students to share their ideas, agree and disagree, and discuss real-life friendship situations in a simple and natural way.
