Lesson Overview

This A1 ESL lesson explores the topic “My Favourite Hotel”, helping students talk about hotels, hotel amenities, and learning using very basic, natural English.

Learners learn functional language about hotel rooms, types of hotels, hotel amenities, and checking in to a hotel. They also learn simple adjectives to describe different hotels, and talk about what is most important to them when staying at a hotel.

Through various fun and engaging ESL exercises, students build confidence talking about hotels and sharing their opinions in short, simple sentences.

This lesson is ideal for A1 learners who are developing basic speaking skills on familiar topics such as staying away, travel, and hotel amenities.
