Lesson Overview
We love teaching this ESL lesson plan on sport because there are a variety of activities which allow students to practice a range of language skills. We recommend using this class with true beginner ESL students because the lesson contains basic vocabulary and grammar exercises which low-level learners will find useful and challenging.
This ESL lesson plan on sport is obviously perfect for any learners that have an interest in sport as it will enable them to give their opinion while learning words which will relate to their lives.
Our favorite exercise is the grammar point. In this lesson ESL students practice “go, play, do” which is super and relevant to the topic, and it presents an opportunity for learners to practice grammar, vocabulary and speaking.
