Lesson Overview
The purpose of this ESL Business class is to study the topic of competition in business, a subject that is important and relevant to all business students. In the class, participants will explore a multitude of areas related to competition in business while learning new words.
Students explore how Netflix stays ahead of the competition through an article, before analysing an informative text by Michael Porter which will give them an insight into how businesses compete, while introducing new words.

Homework
In this detailed homework task, students are asked to complete an idioms exercise, watch a video and complete writing tasks. These tasks allow them to use their newly acquired language. The exercise continues with the theme of the lesson, giving structure through an engaging exercise. Activity layout:
