Lesson Overview

Conversation classes are straight-forward and focus only on one thing - getting your students talking! However, as we introduce the topic with a video, we believe that a vocabulary exercise is needed for students to progress. This ESL Routine Conversation lesson plan starts off with a thought-provoking video. Then, students have to complete a quick vocabulary exercise to make sure they learn new words.

Thereafter, students focus solely on free conversation. They are prompted with multiple discussion questions to ensure they always have something to say. This ESL Routine Conversation class will give your students an opportunity to express their opinions about routine, and ultimately answer the question: is it mundane or not?
