Lesson Overview
This A2 ESL lesson explores the topic “How to Get a Job”, helping students learn useful vocabulary and phrases for finding work and applying for jobs.
Learners discuss different jobs, where people can find job opportunities, and the steps involved in getting hired. They practise using key job vocabulary such as job listings, resumes, cover letters, applications, interviews, references, and salary.
Through a variety of engaging activities, students build confidence talking about work, describing their skills, and discussing the process of applying for a job.
