Lesson Overview

This ESL lesson plan on how to get a job is perfect for your A2 beginner students. It provides all the necessary language and scaffolding to ensure students are able to participate fully and enjoy it. 

The class begins with a fun warm-up exercise. Next, they are introduced to new words related to the topic, which they are then challenged to use in the next exercise. 

The grammar point of “question tag" is explained before learners are given a series of tasks related to the topic. Afterwards, there is a reading exercise in which students read about the job application process.
