Lesson Overview
This ESL Lesson plan teaches students how to express an opinion which is obviously essential as the language is used in the majority of conversations from hanging out with friends, to important business meetings.
We recommend delivering this ESL lesson plan on expressing an opinion to A1-A2 level learners, and to any students that are keen to develop their speaking skills. The engaging activities will provide them with the necessary language to give an opinion.
Our favourite exercise is 6. This activity presents learners with a profile and questions, all of which encourage them to express their opinion, after giving them the necessary language.

Homework
In this excellent homework task, ESL student’s are asked to complete two, detailed exercises relating to the lesson. Firstly, there is a picture task, where students are asked to give their opinions. Finally, learners are presented with controversial statements, the students have to state whether they agree or disagree and explain.
