Lesson Overview
This ESL B2 lesson plan on project management begins with a fun warm-up that explores what skills a person needs to be successful in project management. Next, the video is explored in detail through vocabulary exercises and discussion questions.
This ESL B2 lesson plan on project management then teaches students key vocabulary on how to discuss successful or unsuccessful projects. The phrases are introduced before a free-talk activity in which learners are able to practise the target vocabulary.
The lesson plan then moves on and teaches students how to use key verbs related to project management. They are then able to learn how to use the verbs in a natural way in a dialogue task and questions.
In the next activity, language on how to give and update, ask for an update, make suggestions, clarify a problem and respond to a suggestion is presented. Then, students are challenged to use these new phrases in a natural manner by working through the super fun case studies.
In the final tasks of this ESL B2 lesson plan on project management learners are asked to talk about their personal life which gives them an opportunity to use the target language of the lesson in more detail, solidifying their understanding.
