Unit Overview
Level 3 is tailored for learners who are ready to advance from basic to intermediate English skills, corresponding to the A2-low B1 level.
At this level, students will refine their grammar, expand their vocabulary, and enhance their ability to communicate in more detailed and varied situations. Lessons focus on practical language use, with topics covering everyday life, work, and social interactions.
Through discussions, listening exercises, and role-plays, learners will improve their fluency and comprehension. Each unit in Level 3 includes three lesson plans, with each session lasting between 45 minutes to 1 hour, providing ample time to practice and apply new skills.
Lesson 1
Lesson number one of this unit focuses on the life of William Shakespeare. The class starts with a fun warmer activity where students learn vocabulary related to the topic of the lesson. The first, second and third person styles of writing and speaking are explored, where there is an explanation before a series of engaging tasks. Afterwards, students are given a reading task all about William Shakespeare which also contains many fun exercises. The lesson culminates with a game.

Lesson 2
The second lesson in this ESL kids Famous Poets unit focuses on Maya Angelou. The class begins with a fun recap exercise, this task contains many interesting images and exciting questions. Following that, students are presented with a fun, engaging reading task about Maya Angelou. The reading contains a lot of great information and intriguing tasks. Finally, the lesson finishes with the name game.

Lesson 3
The third class in this ESL kids Famous Poets unit begins with a great warm up exercise. Next, there is a fun vocabulary task which allows people to use their newly acquired language in a real way. Students will then study the life of Robert Frost. There is a great reading, which contains various activities too. Again, the lesson finishes with a fun game.
