Unit Overview
Level 2 is designed for learners who have a basic understanding of English and are ready to progress to the next stage.
Equivalent to the A1-A2 level, students will start forming more complex sentences and expanding their vocabulary. Lessons in Level 2 focus on everyday language, helping students to communicate in familiar situations.
Through fun exercises, games, and practical activities, learners will build confidence in using English. Each unit in Level 2 includes three lesson plans, each lasting a minimum of 45 minutes, and is structured to reinforce learning and encourage real-life language use!
Lesson 1
The first lesson in this ESL Kids travel lesson plan explores the topic of Mexico. Students are given the necessary scaffolding to discuss the subject at length. The lesson begins by introducing new words before using them throughout the lesson in reading, exercises and games. Furthermore, the difficult topic of phrasal verbs is presented in a fun, engaging manner which promotes learning.

Lesson 2
The second lesson in this ESL Kids travel lesson plan explores the country of Norway. Your students will love learning all about this fascinating country. There are some difficult new words specific to Norway which will be introduced. All the new words and grammar are used the readings, exercises and games to guarantee understanding and progression.

Lesson 3
This ESL Kids Travel lesson 3 takes a detailed look at the country of Canada. The lesson begins by recapping the previous two lessons with fun ESL vocabulary games. Next, there is a warm up task which is sure to get your students talking. In the reading task, ESL students learn about all the basic information about Canada. The phrasal verbs introduced throughout the unit are recapped with an exercise and game. This ESL Kids travel class finishes with a board game.
