This lesson explores the controversial ‘War on Drugs’. It is a deep topic which this lesson does a great job of unpacking into numerous fun, engaging activities that are sure to entertain and educate your students!
The content is aimed at advanced learners who are open to exploring and discussing a contested topic. You and your students will love delivering this lesson as it stimulates debate and encourages students to think deeply about a complex issue.
Through the video, we designed many activities based on the topic. Firstly, the vocabulary activities allow students to study new words in an innovative way, before being encouraged to use the language in debates and discussions. There are also reading and listening tasks which are educational and inspiring. We hope you love the class, and we are excited to hear your feedback! Activities:
