Lesson Overview

This lesson teaches students about stress with an interesting video and article. Students get to learn about a very important grammar point - affect vs effect. 

This ESL intermediate stress lesson plan contains many fun and thought-provoking exercises to keep your B2 students engaged! And; they’ll be able to have meaningful conversations about stress and how to deal with it while maybe even using an idiom or two they’ve learned!

Students start with a fun warm up activity discussing stressful situations. Then, they learn new and useful vocabulary relating to the topic. Later, students learn new phrasal verbs and practice using it in a few questions. Next, in this ESL intermediate stress lesson plan - students complete activities relating to the video.
