Lesson Overview

This awesome ESL hobbies lesson plan starts with a warm up question so students can discuss the concept of a hobby. Then, students move on to vocabulary and learn about different hobbies. Later, students need to talk about which of the hobbies they can do.

Next, in this ESL hobbies lesson plan, students dive deeper into the grammar with theory and practice exercises. There is an awesome listening activity, allowing learners to practice this essential skill. 

This is followed by a reading exercise where students learn the importance of hobbies - they need to complete comprehension questions to ensure that they understand what they are reading.
