Lesson Overview

This ESL resume lesson plan begins with a fun warmer which challenges students to think of reasons why people leave jobs before opening up a discussion. Next, quotes taken from an intriguing video are analysed, containing a series of vocabulary exercises at each stage and discussion questions. 

This is followed by a series of fun true or false questions, and thought-provoking questions. Afterwards, learners can use their knowledge to annotate and review mock resumes. Then, there are two super useful exercises which relate to the topic of the class. Finally, the lesson culminates with a synonyms task. Exercises:
