Lesson Overview
What’s better: capitalism or socialism? Does Norway have the perfect economy? Discuss these questions and many, many more relating to economies in this ESL economy conversation class.
The lesson begins by teaching the most important words and phrases from the video. Next, learners are encouraged to use the words and phrases in a discussion section; doing this will solidify understanding and ensure progression.
Afterwards, students will study and discuss specific video questions. The questions dissect each stage of the video while relating the questions back to their own countries. Participants are encouraged to use the vocabulary from task 1. In the final exercise of this ESL economy conversation class students are presented with a series of fun, engaging general sales questions which are sure to ignite a fiery discussion.
