When will you retire? Explore this interesting topic through a great video and multiple fun exercises. This ESL retirement lesson will look at the topic from a business and societal perspective. 

This ESL retirement lesson plan starts off with a fun exercise, where students read and discuss a series of jokes and quotes. Next, there is an excellent trivia activity which will allow them to learn new facts, before discussing them. 

Following that, participants are given a sentence completion task which is taken from the video. This will give students necessary vocabulary before a speaking task. Afterwards, students will discuss the benefits of an aging workforce through a synonyms task and questions. 

The fifth task focuses on how businesses can make workplaces better for older people. It begins by looking at how BMW has improved their workplace before asking students.
