Lesson Overview 

This ESL lesson plan explores the topic of stress. In the modern world ‘stress’ is a popular talking point so this class is perfect for building a student’s vocabulary ready for the real world. Through this topic participants will complete reading, speaking, writing and vocabulary exercises and there is even a case study to analyse. 

Stress is a great topic to present to ESL students as it enables them to open up and reflect on their own lives, doing this will force them to dig deep and use a rich English vocabulary to express themselves.

Homework

In the excellent homework section, students are presented with two exercises. It begins with an activity which encourages them to discuss different jobs and how they relate to stress.
