Lesson Overview

This B2 ESL Conversation Class follows on from our lesson plan “Is Life Better With a Pet?” on ESL Pals. Students explore the challenges of pet ownership through engaging discussions, unusual pets, vocabulary-building activities, real-life dilemmas, debates and famous quotes.

 They will discuss the responsibilities of owning an animal, consider what makes someone a responsible pet owner, and share their opinions on the positives and negatives of life with pets. The lesson also includes a reading comprehension homework task focused on the challenges of pet ownership.

This class is ideal for B2 learners who want to improve their fluency, conversational confidence and ability to express opinions while having interesting, natural conversations about animals, responsibility and the realities of pet ownership.
