Lesson Overview

This A2 ESL lesson explores the topic of “Making Plans”, helping students talk about their plans, suggest activities, and arrange times and places using simple, natural English.

Learners practise useful language for making plans, including asking about availability, inviting someone to do something, making suggestions, and agreeing on a time and place. They use phrases such as “Are you free…?”, “How about…?”, “Would you like to…?” and “What time shall we meet?” while discussing everyday activities such as going for a walk, exercising, and meeting friends.

Through a range of fun and engaging ESL activities, students build confidence making plans, responding to invitations, suggesting activities, and having natural conversations about their free time.

Homework
