Lesson Overview
This A2 ESL lesson explores the topic “What Should We Do on Halloween?”, helping students talk about Halloween activities, plans, and preferences using simple, natural English.
Learners discuss common Halloween activities, describe them using useful adjectives, and talk about what they are going to do this Halloween. They practise using “going to” to talk about future plans while discussing activities such as carving pumpkins, trick-or-treating, decorating the house, wearing costumes, and visiting haunted houses.
Through a range of fun and engaging ESL activities, students build confidence talking about their Halloween plans, making choices, and sharing their opinions about different Halloween activities.
This lesson is ideal for A2 learners who want to develop their speaking skills while practising useful language for discussing future plans, preferences, and familiar Halloween activities.
